On Wednesday, April 13, A-Basin has its biggest fundraiser of the season: The 27th annual Enduro and Apres Party has 35 teams of two lap the Palivacinni lift from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. (10 hours).

“When you’re finished, join us in the A-Frame for our apres party, featuring an Italian dinner, live music from High Five and a huge silent auction,” said Adrienne Saia Isaac, marketing and communications manager for Arapahoe Basin Ski Area.

The event benefits a member of the Summit County community.

“This season, the event benefits Dave Repsher, the Flight For Life nurse and Copper Mountain ski patrol paramedic who was injured in the July 2015 helicopter crash in Frisco,” Isaac said.

For Earth Day, Friday, April 22, guest speakers will present the film “Shifting Ice and Changing Tides” at 6 p.m. for A-Basin’s Earth Day Dinner and a Movie event. On Sunday, May 29, A-Basin hosts the 15th annual Festival of the Brewpubs, with more than a dozen breweries at the ski area sharing beer samplings.

A $30 tickets gets you a commemorative mug and beer sampling from noon to 4 p.m. VIP tickets are also available.
