EDWARDS — Eagle Valley Land Trust will host its largest fundraiser of the year on Thursday, inviting the community to take part in its efforts to conserve our most cherished lands.

New this year, the Land Trust will host a cocktail reception, Garden to Glass, prior to dinner under the stars, where the bartenders from the valley compete to create the best cocktail, as determined by attendees, and using locally sourced ingredients. Tickets are $50 and the cocktail reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.

Tickets to the Land Trust’s Farm to Fork dinner, which includes the cocktail reception followed by a three-course dinner, can also be purchased, as individual tickets or via a table sponsorship package. Both events will take place at the private Scudder-Webster Ranch in Lake Creek. Details can be found at

‘Friendly competition’

“Farm to Fork represents our biggest evening of the year in terms of fundraising, not to mention an evening of delicious food, beautiful views and live entertainment,” said Jim Daus, executive director for Eagle Valley Land Trust. “With the addition of our Garden to Glass cocktail reception, we hope to add more entertainment in the form of friendly competition, and bring even more friends of our local lands together to enjoy some refreshments while supporting conservation.”

Local mixologists facing off in the Garden to Glass cocktail reception will be announced soon. The secret ingredient will be announced Thursday morning, and participating mixologists will have just a few hours to determine their best cocktail recipe. The winner will be selected by Garden to Glass attendees, who will sample each cocktail during the reception and cast their vote.

Tickets to Farm to Fork and Garden to Glass are selling quickly. To purchase tickets, visit or call 970-748-7654.
