VAIL — The Squash Blossom will host a trunk show with a personal appearance by Peter Schmid, of Atelier Zobel. For more than 20 years, Schmid has been creating handmade jewelry at Atelier Zobel in Constance, Germany.

Atelier Zobel resonates with both art and jewelry lovers. Schmid’s design style is exemplified by a painterly surface treatment of pure gold and platinum fused to silver. The use of beautiful and unusually cut gemstones and natural phenomena makes each piece of jewelry unique.

These pieces are highly collectible and instantly identifiable. This jewelry has a balance that is both artistry and function. Schmid understands that jewelry can not only transform the wearer by how a piece looks, but also by how it feels.

“The people who wear our jewelry stand out from the crowd, like a great smile,” he said.

Visit The Squash Blossom today through Monday to meet Schmid and see this collection.
