Get in the flow of yoga
Embrace the flow and allow the prana to guide you. Prana means life-force of creation. Vinyasa means evolution, wave and cycle. Flow means the state of unified consciousness.Prana Vinyasa Flow is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective of Teachers.
Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana – the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence – as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. Practitioners learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow drawn from Krishnamacharya’s teachings, Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, Somatics and Shiva’s teaching experience from the last 15 years. Prana Vinyasa Flow is also an evolutionary method of embodied transformation and radiant health. It cultivates inner and outer strength, fluidity, skill, intuition, vital energy and relaxation through balanced and creative fluid sequences, or vinyasas. Those fluid movements are a catalyst for transforming old patterns and paradigms of the body, self and the world.
Simon Park is a senior teacher of Prana Vinyasa Flow, an energetic approach to the flow of yoga offered by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa collective of teachers. I can’t just recommend one. The session Friday night, Fluid Power: Embodying Wave Motion Within Vinyasa, and the session Saturday morning, Surfing the Vinyasa Wave, are two signature classes taught by Simon and shouldn’t be missed.
Body Enlightening blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form the foundation of a unique new practice that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. The highest aim is to bring individuals into a state of union with themselves, with each other, and with the divine. From this place of mutual support, the true self can be realized, honored and shared for the benefit of all.
