Get involved in the Vail Chamber this fall

Jason PetersVail, CO, Colorado

On Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 8 – 10 a.m. at the Vail Chophouse in Lionshead, the Vail Chamber & Business Association will hold one of its regular community meetings. These meetings provide a great opportunity to meet with other business owners and community leaders to discuss ideas and strategies that might help improve your business. Guest speakers from the town of Vail and Vail Resorts frequently come to these events to discuss what is happening in town or on the mountain. The ability to interact in these discussions is invaluable to those who attend. As always, these meetings are open to the public, so we ask anyone interested in what is going on around town to attend and participate in the dialog. The Vail Chamber & Business Association is currently enrolling new membership for the coming winter season. As a business advocacy group, the Vail Chamber continues to provide its members with a variety of benefits, including media credits, access to our database and inclusion in the Vail Guide. As a communications tool, our weekly E-News Updates are a great way to get your message to a large audience. Vail Chamber members also have free access to this weekly publication. In many cases we act as a collective voice for the business community by addressing issues that many business feel that are out of their control. Involvement with the town of Vail and the Vail community is an important role of the Vail Chamber. This is an election year in Vail and a number of seats on the town council will be available. If you are interested in running for town council, you can get the required documents from the town of Vail starting Monday. Over the course of the election, the Vail Chamber will host a candidate forum. The time and place will be announced this fall. The Vail Chamber & Business Association is the leading business advocacy group for businesses in Vail. The Vail Chamber is a communications outlet for businesses that need to have a voice.
