Get state snowmobile registration before heading to the mountains
VAIL, Colo. (Dec. 8, 2005) – Before heading out to Vail pass this winter, make sure you are prepared with warm clothes and a properly registered snowmobile.
The White River National Forest will not be offering Colorado State Off Highway Vehicle registrations at Vail Pass, or the Silverthorne and Minturn Forest Service offices.
Anyone operating an OHV, All Terrain Vehicle, motorcycle, or snowmobile on public lands must have proof of registration issued by the state. On-line registrations and information can be found at:
