Vail is 130 miles west of Denver, just off of Interstate 70.

By Car Vail is a scenic two-hour drive from Denver International Airport via I-70. Take PENA BLVD. North for 9.8 miles Take the 40TH AVENUE exit, exit number 1A, towards I-70 E/AIRPORT BLVD/AURORA. Stay straight to go onto AIRPORT BLVD Take I-70 W. for approximately 110 miles to the VAIL Exit # 176
Vail is a 35 minute drive from Eagle County Airport Take I-70 east to Vail exits 180, 176 and 173.
Public Transit Vail parking is limited with strict parking regulations. We recommend public transportation as the cheapest, easiest and most convenient way to get around the Vail Valley. The Vail Valley Transit Authority provides year-round service on a year-round basis. Scheduled service is based on the seasonal nature of the community.
