If you don’t believe it, the Eagle Valley Children’s Choral has a song to sing for you. In fact, they have several. They’ll be performing at the Beaver Creek Chapel today at 3 p.m.

Led by the fearless Leanne Gulizia, the choristers are performing an hour of holiday music. “Gloria” is sung African-style, while “Santa’s Holiday Hoedown” has more of a foot-stomping roots feel. Their favorite songs have a prominent rhythmic line.

“Of course their favorite is something funky,” said Gulizia. “They love “La Fiesta de la Posada.’ They’re into Latin beats, love to move to them.”

Seventy-four voices strong, the choral includes two groups: the Live Wires (grades 1 through 3) and the Sound Waves (grades 4 through 8). Each group will perform four songs separately, then make one big group. Other highlights include “Disco Santa,” “Reindeer Jive” and “Over the Meadow and Through the Woods.”

The performance is free to the public, and begins at 3 p.m.
