GLENWOOD CANYON – All lanes of Glenwood Canyon remained closed Tuesday morning after a large rockslide early Monday morning punched holes in Interstate 70.

On Tuesday morning, crews began to hike up the hillside in Glenwood Canyon and will begin rock scaling by 10 a.m. They will start scaling above an unstable rock and work towards it with the goal of prying it loose or gaining a better understanding of its stability. The rock is approximately 20 feet in diameter.
