Glenwood Canyon road work continues Monday

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado ” Work will resume Monday on repairs to the lining of the No Name Tunnel on Interstate 70 east of Glenwood Springs.
One lane in each direction, between miles markers 117 and 119, will be closed throughtout the day. The project, which costs $2.7 million, should be finished in October, the Colorado Department of Transportation says.
The tunnel’s porcelian-painted metals tiles with be replaced with ceramic tiles similar to those that line the nearby Hanging Lake Tunnel. A width restriction of 14 feet will be in place through the duration of the project.
