“If you love the night life, you love to boogie, then get to 8150 for a big disco party,” said Mac.

There will be giveaways throughout the night, as well as a disco ball in constant rotation. The party is “bringing closure” to the Bee Gees escapade that had KTUN Station Manager Steve Wodlinger issue a suspension for radio host Dennis Mac on the air. Later revealed as a stunt, both disco and Dennis Mac supporters crawled out of the woodwork.

Mac will be both the DJ and the emcee for the night.

“You can bet your bottom dollar there’s going to be Bee Gees,” he said. “They’ll be coming out the yin yang.”

Prizes will be offered for the best costume.

“I think the ultimate is John Travolta’s white suit from “Saturday Night Fever,’ with those big shoes and big hair.”

Rumor has it Kerry Gray of Kerry and Company will be there, but as support only. (When they host a ska night, that will be Gray’s time to shine.) All proceeds will go to First Descents. The doors open at 8 p.m. and the fun will begin at 9:01 p.m. Cover is $5. For more information call Dennis Mac at 949-0140.
