Golfers to support Alzheimer’s families at Eagle Valley Senior Life event
EAGLE — The Swing for Our Seniors golf tournament at Gypsum Creek Golf Club on Friday, Aug. 11, will benefit local residents with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.
Now in its fourth year, Eagle Valley Senior Life’s annual event has drawn support from more than 46 local businesses and individuals to raise funds for The Senior Spot, a biweekly adult day services program for seniors that provides respite for caregivers. Other Eagle Valley Senior Life programs include new Activity Buddies and the Caregiver Assistance Fund.
With 57 participants and supporters last year, the Eagle Valley Senior Life golf tournament was the largest yet and featured an awards party, appetizers from the club’s Creekside Grill and a fundraising auction. This year’s main sponsors are Parts City and The Mountain Haus, along with some 25 hole and other prize sponsors.
