GOP to gather at Battle Mountain High School

EAGLE COUNTY — Eagle County’s Republicans will hold their 2016 caucuses Tuesday at three locations.

The majority of GOP members will gather at Battle Mountain High School at 7 p.m. Twenty-five precincts stretching from Vail to Dotsero will caucus together at the midvalley site. Republicans from the Bond and McCoy area will gather at 1690 Derby Loop, and Republicans who reside in the four precincts located in the Roaring Fork Valley will gather at the Eagle County Building in El Jebel.

At the caucuses, Republicans will elect delegates to the county assembly, scheduled for March 19 at 10 a.m. at the Eagle County Building in Eagle. From there, the party will elect its delegates to the state Republican convention.
