VAIL — Gourmet on Gore helps usher in the fall season on Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29 through Sept. 1. This culinary festival offers an Open-Air Tasting with world-class wine, beer and spirits paired with culinary delights from Vail’s top restaurants. Gourmet on Gore offers free admission to the Open-Air Tasting.

A Tasting Tour kicks things off on Aug. 29. Enjoy a progressive evening around town to some of Vail’s finest restaurants and hot spots for the perfect start to the Gourmet on Gore weekend. Each location will include a signature beverage as well as savory appetizers to keep your taste buds happy. This special evening benefits Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake Counties. Tickets are $75.

“Vail has built a reputation for culinary excellence, and we want to showcase that thriving community,” said event producer James Deighan, of Highline. “Participants will be able to tour the exceptional food and drink of some of Vail’s best eateries and partake in an entirely unique Vail lifestyle experience.”



The Open-Air Tasting takes place on Gore Creek Drive from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 30 and 31. Admission is complimentary; just pay-as-you-go for bites and pours. Free kids activities will be available at the event. Enjoy food prepared by the finest culinary talent, sip palate-tempting wine, beers and spirits and enjoy live jazz to top off the afternoon.

Brunch on Bridge Street takes place on Gore Creek Drive and Bridge Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 1.
