What they talked about: Mauriello represents a partnership that has applied to town officials to convert a pair of Wildridge building sites from use for duplexes into three lots for single-family homes. As proposed, the home sites will only be able to build on sites of between 2,500 and 3,000 square feet depending on the lot. Mauriello said even those relatively small building “footprints” could allow fairly large homes to be built.

What council members said: While Carroll expressed some concern over reducing the number of units that can be built, most council members said they believed the changes are suitable for the neighborhood.

“The applicant has really come up with a quality project,” Reynolds said.

How they voted: 6-0 for approval, with Dantas recusing himself due to a conflict of interest.
