Governor, lawmakers to outline plans for Colorado

DENVER – Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter and legislative leaders are laying out their plans for the upcoming legislative session that begins Jan. 13.
The state’s budget crisis is expected to dominate the 120-day session. Also expected to be high on the list of priorities for legislators are programs that lawmakers hope will create more jobs.
Legislators will talk more about the upcoming session during a news conference Monday.
