Graham brings jewelry to Vail

VAIL – The Squash Blossom in Vail is presenting the unique designs of jeweler Sarah Graham.

Graham designs evocative jewelry by applying original artistry and fashions it with the traditional methods underlying Old World craftsmanship.

“Sarah’s newest collections are a fascinating continuation of her inspiration of nature and the study of natures forms,” said Store Manager Amy Logan. “The flowering corals and Jacaranda pieces are her taking biological flowering shapes and pods and creating functional, beautiful jewelry.”

Graham uses 18-karat gold and blackened steel and highlights of black, white and cognac diamonds.

The labeling of her collection includes Manzanita, Pebbles, Stepping Stones, Oyster, Conifer and her line of bridal rings – Kyoto, Bamboo, Leaf, and River Rock. Each piece speaks to its name-source. Sarah’s process of design and construction of prototype is grounded in one of the cardinal virtues found in nature – that of patience.

“Our new Coral Collection is inspired by the German artist and biologist Ernst Haeckel, whose work is the epitome of what I have always striven to portray in my jewelry – that art and science are one in the same, and when searching for pure beauty, one need look no further than their natural surroundings,” Graham said.

Graham’s jewelry will be at the Squash Blossom in Vail Village through August.
