Grand Junction man found dead in Edwards parking lot

EDWARDS, Colorado ” A man who was reported missing was found dead Sunday afternoon in his truck, parked at a rest stop parking lot off Edwards Access Road.
A man walking his dog Sunday morning saw the 28-year-old Grand Junction man in the driver’s seat of a white truck, authorities said.
The man returned Sunday afternoon, saw the man hadn’t moved and called authorities.
Criminal activity is not suspected, authorities said. The cause the man’s death will known after an autopsy is done, The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said.
Authorities didn’t know how long the man had been there, Eagle County Coroner Kara Bettis said.
The man had been doing office equipment repair in the Vail Valley and after he didn’t return to Grand Junction Thursday, his girlfriend reported him missing Friday, authorities said.
The man’s name will be released after authorities contact his family, the Sheriff’s Office said.
