Grand Junction man found guilty of pimping ex-fiancee
GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado – A Grand Junction man faces up to 24 years in prison after being convicted of pimping his ex-fiancee.
Mesa County jurors deliberated for more than three hours before convicting 30-year-old Nathan McClure. McClure’s ex-fiancee, Dharma Johnson, testified that she began working as a prostitute while she was dating McClure. She says she and McClure shared the money she earned for living expenses after he learned of her enterprise.
Johnson was sentenced to two years of probation for her role in the case.
McClure will be sentenced Sept. 1.
