Grant applications available from town of Vail

VAIL – Grant applications are now available for nonprofit organizations or other agencies intending to request project funding from the town of Vail’s 2013 budget. Application packets are available at the town’s Municipal Building, 75 South Frontage Road, or via email to Shane Ellis at sellis@vailgov.com.

The deadline to request an application is May 31, with completed submittals due no later than 5 p.m. June 29.

The submittal packet includes three forms that must be completed in their entirety, including an application, a balance sheet and a statement of sources and uses. Funding will be determined solely from the written submission; no in-person presentations will be held. An electronic version must be emailed to sellis@vailgov.com and five copies of the application must be dropped off at the town’s Municipal Building, or postmarked no later than June 29 and mailed to: Town of Vail Finance Department, Attn: Shane Ellis, 75 South Frontage Road, Vail, CO 81657.

All agency requests for cash contributions, in-kind services and parking pass donations for the 2013 budget year will be considered during this process.

The requests will be scheduled for discussion by the Vail Town Council in September. Final action on the requests will take place with adoption of the 2013 budget, and funds will be disbursed in March of 2013.
