Great care at Vail Valley Medical Center
Vail, CO Colorado
I want to extend my thanks and appreciation for the assistance and care given me on Monday, Jan. 26.
While walking to work after getting off the bus, I fell on the ice by the Avon Center. I fell rather hard, causing me to break my upper arm, near the shoulder. Upon entering my place of employment, FirstBank, 911 was called. Very quickly, both the fire department and the ambulance arrived. I was transported to the emergency room of Vail Valley Medical Center by Jim and Josh, two very competent EMTs.
At the VVMC, Dr. Bevan, the many nurses, and the gentleman who did the X-rays were all kind, compassionate and helpful in dealing with my situation. After that, I had wonderful support from co-workers and friends, with offers of food, rides and help with any of my daily needs.
All this kindness is greatly appreciated. I have lived here since 1977. The outpouring of love and support is proof that I am home. Thank you to everyone. I am so happy to know you and to be part of the Vail Valley. It’s a wonderful place to live.
