Great cooperation among Vail Valley schools for soccer

Barb Wilson and Michael King

The Vail Christian High School girls soccer team would like to take this opportunity to thank some key people in the Vail Valley soccer community for their help this spring.

As many of us know, playing sports in the valley in the spring can be quite a challenge, and this spring was no different.

Add the fact that Vail Christian does not have its own field, and it becomes clear that we rely on others completely for practice and game facilities.

A big high-five and thank-you goes out to Bob Bandoni and Jamie Farquar at Vail Mountain School, Dave Cope and Rich Houghton at Battle Mountain High School, Cliff Zehring at Eagle Valley High School and Jim Sanders and Mike Staten with Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District.

Support Local Journalism

All of these gentlemen dedicate a great deal of their time and energy toward providing the youth in our community with quality athletic experiences, and Vail Christian would like to acknowledge their important contributions.

Thank you!
