Greeley woman accused of selling fake meth

GREELEY, Colo. – A Greeley woman who police say sold real and fake methamphetamine to undercover officers faces three new felony drug charges.

Police say 29-year-old Dawn Longhenry already faced a drug possession charge from last fall when she allegedly tried to sell officers methamphetamine three times in February and March. One case involved real meth, but police say she is accused in two cases of selling an officer sea salt made to look like meth.

A police affidavit says Longhenry told police she needed the money.

She was jailed, with bond set at $50,000, on two counts of distribution of an imitation controlled substance and one count of distribution of a controlled substance.
