Groundbreaking at military facility in Gypsum

Major Joshua Day of the High Altitude Army Aviation Training Site at the Eagle County Regional Airport welcomes state and local dignataries to the ground-breaking ceremony for the new $39 million, 101,600 square foot training facility that will be built at the airport this year. With the new facility, HAATS expects to train up to 800 students annually in its unique mountain flying operation. The new facility is expected to open by May 2013.
