Gubernatorial candidates to attend Eagle County Democrats fundraising dinner

EDWARDS — The Eagle County Democrats will hold their annual Candidate Round-Up and Fundraising Dinner on Friday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Singletree Community Center. The sold-out dinner is the primary fundraiser for the Eagle Country Democratic Party and will feature a catered spaghetti dinner and silent auction.

Joining local Democrats will be candidates for several state and federal elections. Headlining the gubernatorial slate are Vail native and former state Sen. Mike Johnston, Rep. Jared Polis, Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne, businessman Noel Ginsberg and former State Treasurer and city of Denver Chief Financial Officer Cary Kennedy.

In addition to the gubernatorial candidates, attendees will hear from candidates for U.S. Congressional Districts 2 and 3, Joe Neguse and Diane Mitsch Bush, respectively. Jena Griswold, candidate for secretary of state; Steve Lebsock, candidate for treasurer; and candidates for Colorado Attorney General Michael Dougherty, Brad Levin and Phil Weiser will also join the dinner. Local incumbent state Sen. Kerry Donovan will be at the dinner, as will both candidates for State House District 26: Jill Ryan and Dylan Roberts.
