Join Eagle Valley Land Trustâs stewardship manager Jessica Foulis on June 11 for a hunt for Penstemon and other wildflowers in the West Avon Preserve. The hike goes from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and meets at the Singletree Community Center parking lot. The hike is about 2-3 miles and explores the rare wildflowers in Eagle County. Those interested should bring sturdy hiking shoes, sun protection and water. West Avon Preserve is protected forever through a partnership between the town of Avon and Eagle Valley Land Trust. The hike is limited to 30 participants, so RSVP to reserve your spot by calling 970-748-7564 or emailing jfoulis@evlt.org. Special to the Daily |
