Gypsum’s traffic study estimates $105 million to address current and future needs. The state should share in that cost. Costco revenue share with Eagle provided money for roads. Where did that money go?
Development for development’s sake doesn’t fit Gypsum. New projects need to add something to the community.
The pace of growth in Gypsum has been fast, but it has been good for the community. The new business base in town provided additional tax revenues to pay for new services like the recreation center.
It would depend on the specific proposal.
Gypsum is already the county leader in workforce housing
