Gypsum is seeking members for Design Review Board
Members review designs at Airport Gateway, Market District areas
Gypsum has a Design Review Board for two areas in town subject to a higher level of architectural review: the Airport Gateway Business Center (home of Costco, Napa Auto, Ferguson and other businesses) and the Market District (home of the post office, Ridley’s Market, Asian Fusion, and surrounding properties).
The Design Review Board reviews building applications and works with a professional architect to approve the design appearance and criteria set forth in the regulations for these two areas. This board meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. with a possible second meeting as needed.
If you are a resident of Gypsum and interested in serving as a member of the Design Review Board, please complete and submit an application at the town’s website by Wednesday, June 4. Appointments will be made at the Gypsum Town Council’s June 10 meeting, which starts at 7 p.m.
Printed applications and design requirements are available at the Community Development Department at Town Hall, 50 Lundgren Boulevard.
