GYPSUM, Colorado ” Police cars in Gypsum have a new logo thanks to a cooperative effort between the town of Gypsum and the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.

“Gypsum is excited about the new logos,” said Jeff Shroll, Gypsum town manager. “It gives the town a little bit more of its own identity in regards to law enforcement while at the same time continuing our excellent contract relationship with the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.”

Gypsum began contracting law enforcement services from the Sheriff’s Office in 1998. Gypsum contracts the services of three patrol deputies, one being a school resource officer, and owns three patrol vehicles. The new logo mirrors the logo on other town vehicles.
