Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL – Through the Vail Resorts Echo program, Vail Resorts Development Company, Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek Resort and RockResorts have renewed their partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake counties to assist with the LEED-certified Fox Hollow home project.
The Fox Hollow development in Edwards will provide homes to 16 Eagle County families when completed. The Vail Resorts Green Partnership enables Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake Counties to continue to building affordable energy efficient homes that meet LEED certification standards.
In 2009, the Vail Resorts partnership allowed Habitat for Humanity to complete four additional LEED-certified homes providing homes for several Eagle County children and their parents. In addition to grant funding, as part of the Echo program, Vail Resorts employees volunteered their time and provided advice and counsel to Habitat for Humanity on green building methods as well as assistance with special events.
