Halloween Mountain Mash at Agave in Avon
VAIL CO, Colorado
AVON – Celebrate Halloween and the last days before winter with the inaugural Mountain Mash one-day mini festival at Agave in Avon. Four bands and five hours of music will frame the dark and haunting atmosphere at Agave. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best costumes plus a pair of VIP tickets to The 2012 SnowBall.
Yamn returns after traveling across the country for over a month. The band will conclude its fall tour with the “2011 Halloween Run,” bringing a full-sensory experience back to the Rocky Mountains. The band will perform music from Cameron Crowe’s classic, “Almost Famous.” Exclusively performed in Colorado, the 2011 Halloween Run is not to be missed.
This Denver quartet first joined forces in Breckenridge in 2007. Yamn is comprised of Brian Hamilton (guitar, vocals), Adam Ebensberger (drums, vocals), David Duart (bass, vocals) and Ryan Ebarb (keys, guitar, vocals). The progressive trance-fusion band continues to build a solid fan base in the Front Range music scene. The Yamn experience includes a LED light show, crisp melodies, power rock jams and a high-energy dance party.
The MTHDS are playing the best of The Beastie Boys. A Vail-born, youthful band that combines funk-driven rock and melodic hip-hop will set the tone for the festival. In other words, fans can expect Music That Heightens Different Senses (MTHDS). Formed in April of 2007, “The Methods,” as they’re more widely known, were drawn together by a love of music and snowboarding and began playing to athletes, tourists, ski bums, shredders and hipsters.
