D'oh: The Titans of Town Talk missed Hugh Paine's birthday, which he celebrated March 2. Which birthday is it? Friends will only say he's celebrating anniversaries of his 40th birthday these years.

The Vail Valley Business Women will have a health fair at the group’s March meeting, set for Wednesday at the Singletree community center. The event starts at 6 p.m.Group members will be able to get information from 56 vendors about health-care resources in the Vail Valley for women, including general internal and family medicine, pediatric, optometry, naturopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy, supplements, exercise programs and more. The event is free to “gold” level members. Silver-level members have to pay $25. Non-members have to pay $30 to get in.At the March meeting, members can pick up registration forms for the April meeting, which is “spa night” at Spastruck at the Charter in Beaver Creek.To attend, please R.S.V.P. by Monday at noon. Brilliance in our midstDavid Spriggs of Vail is a senior at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. He’s apparently doing quite well, thanks, since he showed up on the college’s dean’s list for fall semester.Congratulations, David!
