Hear ghost stories at Sylvan Lake near Eagle

EAGLE, Colorado – Sylvan Lake State Park near Eagle will host an evening of ghost stories and autumn treats for Halloween. The free event will take place at Sylvan’s visitor’s center from 6-7 p.m. on Saturday. All visitors will be required to have a $6 daily entrance pass or a $60 annual parks pass.
Visitors will gather around the fireplace for a few rousing localized ghost stories told by staff and volunteers. Sylvan Lake is surrounded by ghost towns, abandoned mines and deserted homes and ranch buildings from a long-forgotten time.
In addition to stories and treats, everything in the bookstore will be 15 percent off before and after the event. Space is limited. R.S.V.P. to 970-328-2021.
