Hearing Sept. 10 for golf course project
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado – The Town of Vail Planning and Environmental Commission will review an application for a conditional use permit for temporary structures at the Vail Golf Course and Nordic Center during its meeting on Sept. 10. The meeting begins at 1 p.m. in the Vail Town Council Chambers. Adjacent property owners are invited to attend the meeting.
The application for a conditional use permit has been filed jointly by the town of Vail and the Vail Recreation District. The temporary facilities would be used to operate the Vail Golf Course and Nordic Center in anticipation of future renovations. Four temporary structures and an enclosure are proposed. These include a retail-rental and office trailer, a restroom and locker trailer, a two-bay storage shed, a cart barn tent approximately 50 feet by 100 feet for summer operations and a fenced enclosure for back of house operations. The temporary facilities would be located in the vicinity of the driving range and the starter building and are contingent upon finalized plans for renovation of the golf course clubhouse.
