CORDILLERA – Recently, Mary and Jim Hesburgh hosted a gathering for significant donors and trustees of the board of the Family Learning Center at their Cordillera home.

The event was meant to acknowledge and thank those who have brought the Family Learning Center from a vision to a reality. The Hesburgh granddaughters greeted the guests and directed them to cocktails in the yard surrounded by lovely Cordillera mountain views. Thanks to the major donors and other donors, the community raised over $7 million to build the Family Learning Center seven years ago. The vision was to provide quality, affordable, accessible child care and early education to children in the community.
