Hickenlooper campaigning on primary day

PUEBLO, Colorado – Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Hickenlooper is spending primary day in southern Colorado.

The Denver mayor isn’t facing an opponent, freeing him up to campaign Tuesday while other candidates are still trying to get last minute voters to turn in their ballots.

Hickenlooper plans to visit Pueblo, Canon City, Westcliffe and Salida, where he’ll tour a non-profit health clinic and attend the Chaffee County Democrats annual barbecue. He plans to watch election returns back in Pueblo at the Union Depot.
