Hill & Co. joins Vail Summer campaign

Hill & Co. has recently been named the new creative agency for the 2004 Vail Summer campaign by the Vail Local Marketing District”Our goal has been to bring our creative talents home to our ownbackyard,” said Linda Hill, president. “With the Vail Summer account we will be able to further personalize our creative work as we recognize the intrinsic local topics.”Hill’s team of creative directors, art directors, graphic designers, illustrators and copywriters have designed a campaign to meet the goals of their Vail Summer partners, they said.”We are excited to have Hill & Co. join the marketing team,” said Beth Slifer, president of the Vail Advisory Council, oversees the efforts of the Vail partners. “Their award-winning and result-winning efforts with other resort communities has us looking forward to their contributions to our Vail efforts.”Hill & Co. has won a number of awards working with past clients. Most recent awards include the 2002 TIA Odyssey Award for Advertising working with the Grand Junction Visitor & Convention Bureau on their complete campaign; the HSMAI 2002 Gold Award for working with Telluride Mountain Village Visitors Services on their complete campaign; the HSMAI 2002 Silver Award for working with Vail Cascade Resort & Spa on their complete campaign; the HSMAI 2002 Bronze award for working with the Grand County Colorado Tourism Board on their complete campaign; and Telluride Mountain Village Visitor Services on their web site. In 2001, Hill & Co. received three HSMAI Gold Awards, one Silver Award and three Bronze Awards.The Vail Advisory Council, a nine-member volunteer board, oversees the efforts of Vail Summer partners. Other partners in the Vail Summer campaign, are Peeples Ink PR for public relations; Internetworks for Web development; GA Wright for direct mail; Longwoods International for strategic consulting; RTP/Pyramid Media for search engine optimization; Jack Affleck for photography; RRC Associates for intercept research; Untraditional Marketing for guerilla marketing; and EEF Productions for video production.
