Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is expected to arrive in Aspen on Tuesday for a private fundraising event before she makes two public appearances in Denver, a source knowledgeable of her visit said.
Clinton will appear an event at the home of Soledad and Robert Hurst, both of whom declined to comment when reached Monday.
Robert Hurst sits on the Aspen Institute’s board of trustees. The former vice chairman of Goldman Sachs currently is the managing director of Crestview Advisors, a New York-based investment firm.
Multiple Denver news organizations also have reported the former first lady and secretary of state will make an appearance at La Rumba nightclub at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the capital city.
The source said Clinton is making what appears to be a whistle-stop visit here before she takes off for Denver for two fundraisers.
The Denver Post reported that all three fundraisers are charging $2,700 for admission. That’s the maximum amount that can be donated to a candidate’s committee by an individual donor.
