EAGLE — The Bowlmor Cafe & Lounge, located in The Back Bowl in Eagle, will host comedian John Novosad, better known throughout the comedy world as Hippieman, when Comedy Night at the Bowlmor returns Saturday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m.

Hippieman is a veteran of both stand-up and sketch comedy. He has achieved acclaim on some of the biggest stages throughout the country, including a career-changing appearance on “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson” that so impressed the host that he was soon invited back for a reprise performance. In addition to that high-profile exposure, he has shared the stage with many of comedy’s first-tier stars, including Lewis Black, Jerry Seinfeld, Tommy Chong, Roseanne Barr and Kevin Nealon.

A Boulder resident, Hippieman is a featured performer at Denver’s Comedy Works and has both headlined and opened at many of the country’s finest comedy clubs, including Las Vegas’ iconic Catch a Rising Star. He has been a mainstay of Denver’s comedy scene for years and had a hand in many of the charitable comedy showcases that take place there.

Novosad’s laid-back, self-effacing style is the perfect foil to his weird and twisted take on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in our world today. He has a unique, disarming presence and sharp wit that has a way of sneaking up from behind.

Vinnie Montez will be starting things off with his second appearance at the Bowlmor. Also a Boulder native, he brings his multicultural experiences to play in his energetic performances. Don’t let his size fool you; the man is nimble … at least in his delivery and style. He performs regularly at Comedy Works and top clubs across the country.

Tickets for Comedy Night at the Bowlmor are on sale for $15 in advance or $18 on the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased in person at The Back Bowl or by phone with a credit card by calling 970-328-BOWL.
