Hockey tourney benefits employees in need
VAIL, Colorado – On Friday and Saturday, Dobson Arena in Vail will host the first Vail Resorts Ice Hockey tournament. This four-team tournament will include teams from the four Colorado resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. Rosters will be consist of current Vail Resorts employees, with potential exemptions for goalies.• Friday: Vail Ski Patrol vs. Vail Ski & Snowboard School, 6:45 p.m.; Breckenridge vs. Keystone/Beaver Creek, 8:15 p.m.• Saturday: Third-place game, 6:15 p.m.; championship, 8 p.m.Donations will be accepted at the door. Proceeds will go to the Vail Valley Charitable Fund to help employees in need. Two employees, Jeff Rodeen and Kristen Davis, will benefit from this weekend of hockey games.
