What goods or services do you provide? Home furnishings, accessories, gifts and interior design.
What’s new or exciting at your place? We recently moved to Avon after being in Vail for more than 25 years. We have a brand-new showroom with 5,000 square feet of retail and design space. Our showroom features finishes and products from local businesses including Ruggs Benedict, Linen Kist and Arrigoni Woods.
What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Our design team is dedicated to bring you the highest level of creativity and design, creating a unique and personal look for your mountain home. We are enthusiastic about incorporating new styles while preserving a timeless mountain look, striving to offer unique textiles and furniture silhouettes to keep our look exclusive to you and Home Outfitters.
What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? For more than 25 years we have worked with homeowners and designers throughout Colorado, offering them the best prices and services. We take pride in our level of customer service, including complimentary installation services, order expediting and warehouse receiving. Our on-staff designers are always available for a complimentary in-home consultation and will help guide you in achieving a beautiful mountain home.
Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: Our designers are educated and experienced in the industry of design and sales. The team works together to hand select the best products at many of the top markets every year bringing you the most current merchandise.
What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? During our history we would hold a Spring Tent Sale. During one of our sales we had a customer come in who asked to see some of our tents — then she looked around and quickly realized that we were not selling tents!
