Home show is April 8 in Eagle
Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE, Colorado – The fourth annual Western Slope Home Show is from 4-8 p.m. April 8 and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at the Eagle River Center in Eagle.
This event gives homeowners and builders an opportunity to see thousands of home ideas under one roof.
Visitors will have an opportunity to compare the many home items available, plus new innovations for building, remodeling, decorating and landscaping – some that are not to be found anywhere else but at the expo.
A “Wine and Design” event will pair a design competition with a wine tasting. The public will vote for their favorite room, and two winners will be drawn from the votes. Winners will receive all contents of one of the rooms.
One winner will be chosen from voters on Friday night, and one winner will be chosen from voters Saturday near the end of the show.
There will also be hosting a silent art auction titled “Re-Art,” with a portion of proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. Local artists have been challenged to create fine art pieces from used items that would normally found in the home. The Habitat has been generous in supplying artists with items from their store. Items will be on display Friday and Saturday with the silent auction commencing at 5 p.m. Saturday. Artists will also have the opportunity to display and sell their own art.
An electronics waste recycling event will be held in conjunction with the home show. The Ewaste Recycling will take place from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. April 9. Drop-off will be at the event and costs starting at $5 and up depending on the electronics being recycled .
There will be free parking on-site, and a $2 suggested donation per person upon entry to the event. All donations will be given to Habitat for Humanity. For more information on this event or to become a sponsor or a vendor, call Monica at 970-949-0140.
