Honor Malay’s memory with helmet
Vail, CO, Colorado
I am writing this letter in response to Malay Day this coming Thursday in Beaver Creek. As I understand it, Josh Malay was one of the best snowboarders of his time, and he died doing what he loved.
But what I don’t see is anyone pointing out the fact that he died from a head injury, and he was not wearing a helmet. I hope that all who know and loved him, and plan on participating in the celebration of his life April 9 will do so by honoring him by wearing a helmet. It could have saved his life, and it can save yours.
