Hooting and hollering in Vail
Dear construction workers of Vail,
Thank you for your comments, your stares, your whistles. You make my heart giddy with anticipation each time I walk near a construction site.
Thank you for making me feel self worth for what is truly important: my appearance.
And thank you for taking away my parking at work. It was such a nuisance being able to drive to work on rainy days when I can’t bike. Your vainglorious explanation of why you’re now parking in my spot clarifies everything: “If we cain’t park, we cain’t build.” (sic) You’ve truly made my life more amazing.
