Doris Kirchner, CEO of VVMC, addressed the members of the Volunteer Corps by thanking them and complimenting the amount of fun they have while putting in their many hours of volunteer work, saying, “You’re always willing to help, and you always have smiles on your faces.”

Other executive representatives from VVMC at the luncheon were Tom Mars, chief operating officer; Alice Weydt, vice president of nursing services; Doug Smith, vice president of marketing and development; Dr. Jack Eck, vice president of the VVMC Foundation; Mary Ann McEntee, vice president of quality and risk; and Peggy Carey, vice president of oncology.

New board members installed this year featured President Dick Woodrow, First Vice President Marilyn Gill, Second Vice President Debby Jasper, Treasurer Jane Reisinger, assistant treasurers Jennifer Holzworth and Samantha McIntosh, recording secretary Jan Smith and corresponding secretary Marti Waneka.

A special “thank you” goes to past President Sandy Jacaruso for organizing this beautiful luncheon and for thoughtfully personalizing each officer’s initiation.
