Hospital changing of the guard
The Vail Valley Volunteer Corps of the Vail Medical Center held a luncheon earlier this month to install officers for the coming year. The organization has more than 200 volunteers who are dedicated to promoting and supporting the health of the community.
Volunteers serve at the Shaw Cancer Center, the Vail Valley Medical Center and Mountain Hospice. They also run the gift shop and support patients and guests in various capacities.
The Volunteer Corps sponsors fundraisers for the hospital. The main fundraiser is the Neiman Marcus Fashion Show and Luncheon, which is still accepting volunteers. VT
