Gypsum, CO Colorado

GYPSUM , Colorado ” A Gypsum, Colorado man had a funny feeling when he walked into his home Dec. 12 after a long day at work, but it took him a little while to figure out the source.

The sheriff’s report said he got home around 10:15 p.m., and it felt like someone had been in the house. He decided to relax in the hot tub, and on his way there, noticed the back door and the gate to the hot tub was open. He got in the hot tub anyway.

Then he noticed the backyard gate was open. That’s when he decided to piece all these clues together. He got out of the hot tub and noticed there were footprints in the snow, which he followed out his yard and down the street.

The footprints only led to the end of a cul-de-sac and the determination that somebody with a size 8 DC shoe was creeping around his yard, maybe even his house.

Nothing was taken from the man’s home and because the footprints didn’t bear any solid leads, the case was closed.
