Housing important in Eagle County

I have lived in this valley my whole life. I am 27 and I work two jobs so I can afford to live here. I can’t afford to buy a place.

When Dick Gustafson was a commissioner, he approved of over 3,000 high-end homes. He approved all of these with no “middle class” or worker housing. When asked during a debate something along the line of “So, you’ve never approved affordable housing? Gustafson’s response was “No, and I’m proud of that.”

A lot of Mr. Gustafson’s money for the campaign has come from developers.

That’s why I am voting for Peter Runyon and Jon Stavney. They care about open spaces, affordable housing and the work force.
