‘Hydration stations’ to replace bottled water at Teva games in Vail

Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

MINTURN, Colorado – Sundance Water Company and the Vail Valley Foundation have replaced bottled water with three “hydration stations” at this weekend’s Teva Mountain Games.

Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring their own water bottles to the weekend’s events. For those without bottles, Eco-Products of Boulder has donated biodegradable cups made from corn.

The hydration stations use water processed through the Kinetico Reverse Osmosis drinking system. And people curious about what’s in their water can bring a sample from home to have tested at the games.

Participants and spectators are also encouraged to enter the “Guess the Gallons” competition – the person who comes closest to guessing the total number of gallons served at the Teva Mountain Games will win a Kinetico drinking system.
