I-70 clear after semi-truck accident

As of 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night, Interstate 70 was cleared and opened after a semi-truck jack-knifed on Vail Pass.

The truck lost control on Vail Pass going eastbound at about 5:45 p.m. There were no injuries or other vehicles involved, according the Colorado State Patrol Dispatch.

“We’re still asking people to drive slowly and be very careful. The roads are icy,” said a dispatch officer.
